Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels Host Cigar City Tap Takeover

If you are planning on spending some time at Walt Disney World this Independence Day weekend, there is opportunity for you to indulge in your craft beer habit and even do some good at the same time. Craft Beer may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Walt Disney World in central Florida. But, over the past few years, the theme park haven has increasingly made craft beer a staple to menus in some of their hotel and even theme park restaurants. In addition, the annual Epcot Food & Wine festival has had a larger and larger selection of imported and craft beers.

Cigar City and the Swan and Dolphin hotels at Walt Disney World have collaborated for a tap takeover at the Cabana Bar and Beach Club July 2 through July 8. During this period, all eight of the taps at the club will flow with Cigar City beers and cider including Operation Homefront IPA. In addition, a selection of Cigar City beers will be available at the Dolphin’s lobby lounge.

On July 4, a portion of all proceeds from the collaboration brew Operation Homefront IPA will be donated to Operation Homefront, an organization that provides  assistance to military families during difficult financial times by providing food assistance, auto and home repair, vision care, travel and transportation, moving assistance, home items, and financial assistance. The beer was created collaboratively by 11 breweries including Cigar City, 21st Amendment, Sly Fox, St. Arnold, Left Hand and more.

Other Cigar City beers that will be available at the Cabana Bar and Beach Club include: Hotter Than Helles Lager, Maduro Brown Ale, Invasion Pale Ale, Jai Alai IPA, Florida Craker White Ale, Cigar City Cider, Cigar City Apple Pie Cider, Tocobaga Red Ale, Cubano Espresso Brown Ale and Wandering Pelican Black Ale.
