Volcano Choir gave a stunning performance this Saturday at Seattle’s historic Neptune theater. Openers, The Cloak Ox started things off by delivering a knockout performance that provided the perfect intro to the night’s show. While their entire set was nothing short of amazing, the highlight for many was Justin Vernon’s surprise guest appearance on one of the last songs.

Volcano Choir mesmerized the crowd with a fantastic display of lights and sounds. Led by Vernon and comprised several members from a band called Collections of Colonies of Bees, this musical supergroup is the perfect example of collaboration at its finest. The band played many favorites including new tracks such as “Bygone” and “Tiderays” but finished off strong with an awesome cover of Bon Iver’s “Woods” as one of their closing songs.
