VLC Gets a Major Update

One of the most popular media player, VideoLAN Player has updated with an experimental support for Blu-Ray discs and a very appealing new interface for Windows and Mac users.
Though for Mac users the user interface has completely changed and is much more appealing, for Windows users they have just polished the essential play/pause/seek bar buttons.

The mighty 2.0 update for VLC brings a ton of codec support and has drastically improved the support for multi-cores processors and faster GPUs. The new Blu-Ray support allows users to watch the Blu-Ray media even without actually ripping it before. It has a few minor issues, but its experimental so no complains there.

If you are a VLC user, this is a must upgrade for you and for those who aren’t using VLC yet, should get it right away.
