By Dr.jenifer Sayyed @SayyedJenifer

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Abu Dhabi is one of the most beautiful and magnificent places of worship in the world. It is a stunning example of Islamic architecture and art, and it has become a popular tourist destination for people from all over the world.

Visiting Abu Dhabi in UAE has always been a dream of mine and I’m so happy that I finally did it! It takes roughly 2 hours to reach from Dubai. Our cab driver, Mr. Arafat, was humble and provided us with an amazing experience. We had a memorable day trip, and I highly recommend him for any trips in the Emirate. Give him a call at +971509511041, you won’t regret it!

I wanted to opt for a shared transfer to Abu Dhabi, but no matter how hard I tried to convince my brother, he was adamant about going for a private car. So, we ended up renting one for our trip.

But, if you’re looking for a cost-effective way to travel to Abu Dhabi, then I’d recommend opting for a shared transfer. There are numerous online websites providing such services, so make sure to check them out!

We were so excited to finally see the mosque in daylight that we use to see on Instagram, shimmering in white!

But as usual, we got too busy enjoying ourselves at Warner bros world and got late. Thankfully, we could still make it to the mosque just in time before sunset and we got to experience both daylight and night. It was an amazing experience!

Abu Dhabi’s Grand Mosque Dress Code

Explore the majestic beauty of Abu Dhabi’s Grand Mosque and embrace its culture with respect!

Visiting any sacred place in any country requires respect, and that respect comes from dressing appropriately.

It’s sad to see that many tourists forget this basic rule. I recently saw a few Youtube videos of a male YouTuber being unable to enter a mosque because he had worn short pants and a female was wearing a sleeveless dress.

Don’t worry if the same happens to you though; the mosque is connected to a mall, so you can either shop for something more suitable or even rent cloth.

Dressing appropriately is a must when visiting this holy place – make sure to wear loose-fitting, modest clothing that covers the arms and legs.  You will be asked to wear a head scarf or cover your head with a dupatta.

Let’s show our appreciation for this sacred site with mindful respect!

I had carried Abaya from India esp for visiting this place.

Another important thing regarding photos and videos.

I was not allowed to sit and take my photos.

I saw a staff not letting a couple take a photo as he had put his hand on her shoulder. A simple couple photos are allowed but no touching.

So, be careful, my friends, and don’t forget to show respect to the places you visit.

Be mindful of these simple rules, and you can enjoy your visit to the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi and gain a greater appreciation for its beauty and significance.

So take your vacation to the next level by adding a day trip to Abu Dhabi! Its beautiful Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a must-see and offers a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
