A team of police officers from Slave Island had arrested a Georgian national who was here on a visit, with 490 milligrams of heroin, on June 7 evening.
This Georgian national aged 28 had been taken into custody at an apartment complex at Union Place, Colombo 2, the police said. During investigations it was revealed that he was addicted to drugs.
