Do you remember when you turned 19? The days, weeks, even years leading up to it were filled with anticipation for a party that would be remembered for a lifetime. Voyageur Days in Mattawa will celebrate 19 years this summer and they promised a concert lineup that would include all fun and rocking bands all weekend long and on Tuesday they delivered the first piece of that lineup and it feels good.

Vince Neil, frontman of the now disbanded Motley Crue, will headline Saturday night's entertainment at the 19th edition of Mattawa Voyageur Days, July 22 - 24. "Explorers Point will absolutely rock with Vince Neil playing all your favourite Motley Crue hits" says Jacques Begin Co-chair of Mattawa Voyageur Days. "Mattawa Voyageur Days is celebrating its 19th birthday this year so we thought that the concert line-up will include all fun and rocking bands all weekend long. We have also confirmed other bands who will be announced in very short order. No ballads...all rock and all super fun all weekend long".

It wasn't all that long ago that Vince and the rest of Motley Crue passed through Ottawa on their farewell tour, I was there and I can tell you it was one heck of a party. If Vince brings half of that party with him to Mattawa this summer I guarantee you it will be a rockin' good time all night long!

"The Committee will be announcing more confirmed bands in the next couple of weeks and are in final negotiations with other bands."

Wristbands are now on sale at all Mattawa & North Bay area Scotiabanks and Caisse Populaires as well the Mattawa Travel Information Centre for $50. For more information visit www.voyageurdays.com
