This chart was made from results of a new Gallup Poll -- done on October 10th and 11th of a random national sample of 693 viewers of the second presidential debate, with a margin of error of 5 points.
The consensus of the debate viewers was that Hillary Clinton won the debate. All viewers by an 18 point margin, men by an 11 point margin, women by a 26 point margin, Independents by a 19 point margin, and Democrats by a 90 point margin. Only one group, Republicans, thought Trump won the debate.
