From Vancouver BC's R&B Brewing comes the "Vienna Style Lager" the newest beer in their brand new Mount Pleasant Series of beers. The beer pours a deep copper with a tan head. The aroma consists of grassy hops, sweetness and a nice malt finish. The flavour is malt forward, some toasted notes, sweetness and grassy hops but not a ton of bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 5% with an IBU of 24. Looking at the BJCP style guidelines I would have to say that this beer is hitting on the right notes and on top of that its pretty darn tasty.
Commercial Description: Reddish brown in colour with complex yet delicate malt aromas and flavours. This amber coloured lager is well balanced, clean, crisp and refreshing while pairing well with food. A perfect beer for summer barbecue season.
