Sun-kissed, serene and strikingly strange – that would pretty much do to sum up last year's pulsing sonic pop-sweetheart 'Terribly Cute'; a dreamy and debonair darling, RALFY's most recent creative share quite likely will steal your heart with its wonderfully whimsical visuals (you see main man Jonny Stemp stroll around town in the song's complementary music video, wearing a shiny silver coat and taking the viewer to an ice cream parlour and a candy store, to side-street stalls and indie shops) and make you fall in love with its refreshingly frisky and fine sound.
'Terribly' Cute', unmistakably, is that shiny and dulcet musical herald of summer you didn't know you were looking for right now but are happy to have around mid-winter already; its blissfully buoyant and mildly floating, sweet melodies make you crave ice-cream (or is it your secret/imaginary/long-lost lover you yearn for when listening?!) and sunny, fuzz-free days while RALFY's velvety vocals never miss that vibrantly blithe tone to keep you in high spirits (and, even more so, make you feel totally OK with how terribly cute both song and music video actually are; with delightfully upfront and dashingly amusing pictures – in your head and in front of your eyes – men and anti-romantics in particular don't need to fear that this is yet another tonal lovey-dovey tale for women to swoon over. Not at all, it's a cool, lighthearted, peppy track with a charmingly quirky and quaint core for everyone to enjoy; especially for those who fancy the likes of Owl City [it's pretty remarkable how the vocal and melodic style 'nowadays I drink my coffee black and it's so sour' is sung in, nods to the Minnesota-raised singer, don't you agree?]).
