True Blood’s Lafayette, Nelsan Ellis plays Billy Bird in the new bio-pic based on legendary singer, James Brown.  In a video interview below from the 20th annual Essence Festival EURweb’s Lee Bailey caught up Taylor, Boseman, and co-star Nelsan Ellis (Bobby Bird).

In addition to Taylor’s comments, Boseman and Ellis provided insight on the challenges with filming what is sure to become a classic .
