[VIDEO] Carrie Underwood Tribute To Vegas Shooting Victims At CMA Awards

Carrie Underwood gave a moving tribute to Country music stars who are no longer with us, and victims of the Las Vegas shooting that left 58 dead during Wednesday nights’s CMA Awards.

Carrie Underwood sang a rendition of the hymn “Softly and Tenderly,” paying tribute to Country music stars lost in 2017, and then, toward the end of the performance, the faces of the 58 victims who were killed in the mass shooting in Las Vegas  flashed across the screen in the auditorium.

In addition to performing, Underwood also served as one of the evening’s hosts, along with fellow country star Brad Paisley. This marks the 10th consecutive year of the duo co-hosting the event.
