Via Audio Gets Cozy with Us in Front of the Fire [buzzsession]

Via Audio is on the prowl and ready to pounce with their upcoming yet-to-be-named LP.  Recorded at comfy Brooklyn studio Sounds Like a Fire, the album shows glimpses of the elements that turned heads with their debut, Say Something Say Something Say Something, and sophomore release, Animalore, but is very much it’s own beast.  While the album doesn’t have a release date or label quite yet, the band is busy playing gigs (recently with The Spinto Band, With Lions) and, as you’ll see here, cozying up with their new material.

Tom Deis and Jess Martins from the band took the trip up to Westchester a couple months back to spend some time with us in the (sort of) wilderness.  We lit a fire in the fireplace then got nice and comfy with the duo who played two unreleased tracks, “Luz” and “Love Letter To My Future Self”, both off the new album.  Enjoy both of those videos below and snag free MP3s of each using our Soundcloud player even further down the page.

Via Audio is playing Union Pool in Brooklyn on June 20 with Butchers & Bakers and Magnetic Island.

‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie.  With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City (in this case, Westchester, New York) and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs which are given away for free.
