Verdict on Venom: The Last Dance
Venom: The Last Dance is the third installment of the franchise, following Eddie trying to find somewhere to hide. However, Venom’s world has come searching for him and now the two face a fresh threat that will test their unity once and for all.
This third outing is more of the same, it increases the threat from outside of the universe while keeping the military involvement. It doesn’t do anything truly outrageous and mostly keeps us waiting for the bigger threat. The battles are bonkers and introduce something that is interesting to see, but not understand unless you know the source material. We get an excellent threat in the creature that has a gruesome way of dealing with enemies. This movie seems to understand how to be more just fun, which is nice to see in a sub-genre which has relied heavily on connection.
Final Thoughts –Venom: The Last Dance is a fun, entertaining third installment.
