Vendhaya dosai recipe
Star ingredients:Par boiled rice and methi seeds
Time:2 hours+30 minutes
Yield:18-20
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup par boiled rice(Puzhungal arisi or idly arisi)
1/4 raw rice(pacharisi)
1/4 cup whole urad dal
3 teaspoons methi seeds
Salt
Method:
1.Soak all the ingredients together for 2-3 hours.
2.Drain and grind to a smooth batter,The consistency should be like the one for normal dosai(free flowing)
3.Heat a non stick or cast iron tava,spread a ladle full of batter from inside to outside.
1.These dosas taste best when made spongy.
2.You can choose to use par boiled rice completely instead of raw rice.
