- The lovely breakfast smoothies before adding the Raw cacao nibs!
Today, I made Vegan, Gluten-Free Raw cacao nibs, banana, vanilla almond smoothies! These are very filling too! :) We drank them as a nice filling breakfast before going, on a long walk! :)
Recipe: For 1750 ml = 7 cups of liquid
Ingredients:
1000 ml of home-made unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2 ripe large banana, peeled & each cut up into 2
1/2 cup + 1/3 cup raw cacao nibs
3 pitted dates ( or a few more, if you like it to be a bit more sweet! ;) )
1 cup + 1/2 cup larger full oat flakes
Method:
1. Take your Vitamix. Put all your ingredients in this order in it. Blend on full & high-speed until fully joined, using the tamper to push ingredients into the running blades. Blend for about 15 to 30 seconds max. Taste! It has to taste yummy & you must taste the richer chocolate flavor of the raw cacao nibs & the vanilla almond flavour!!! Enjoy!
