V Festival Announcement

By Wildchildmedia @wildchildmedia

Once again we are at the stage in the year when the eagerly anticipated line-up for V- festival is announced!

When looking at the rumored artists for the festival it includes artists from Lady Gaga to The Vaccines and so many more, so is the rumored line up anything like the official one?

Although Lady Gaga may not have been announced, my oh my, what a line up! Along with The Vaccines being announced it also includes artists such as Beyonce, Kings of Leon, Paloma Faith and Rudimental are just a few of the phenomenal artists that have been confirmed for this amazing looking festival. I think this line up is very much like marmite; you either love it or you hate it and personally I am seriously impressed! I think it is very much a mainstream type festival and the line up is very much expected, but at the same time I still think acts like Lianne  La Havas and The Courteeners will still appeal to people who like a bit of a ‘niche’ audience.

I think like myself, a lot of festival goers this year will be letting out a cry of either happiness or loathing. Personally, I’m still not too sure… I have already bought a ticket for Reading, and I am extremely happy with lineup (especially Eminem- fangirl moment) and it will still be an absolutely AMAZING time dont get me wrong. Yet there are a few acts that have been announced for V that make me get a lump in my throat. In the end though, festivals aren’t just about the music; they are about becoming best friends with the folks in the tent next to you, dancing with your friends until you can’t feel your legs, loosing your tent and not being sure on where to go and just enjoying the freedom that you have. So whether you aren’t really keen on any festival line up this year, if you get the chance… GO! Now all I have to do is wait for mumford & Sons to announce they are playing at Reading and life will be complete!
