Just like the soldiers in the military, this is a one tough pizza. It not only can survive for more than 1,000 days, but it’s also made to survive 50-foot falls without messing up the crust and the cheese. These tough pizzas are planned to be delivered to combat zones by helicopter and parachute drops.

Just recently, NASA began testing out its 3D-printed pizza for astronauts. Although, I think this 3-year lasting pizza will be much better than printing it out in space. New tough pizzas will go into production in 2015 after a field test in later this year.
