Two words that comes to mind when you walk around the historic center of Athens is Urban Vandalism.
Most specifically when you look at the walls of Metaxourgeio, Psirri and Exarhia area, the Athenian graffiti artists have transform every corner into a special canvas.
Walls filled with expression of love, anger, desperation, compassion, portrays of ancient philosophers and feminine figures.
One thing I love is that those graffiti are a glimpse into the daily lives and routine of Athenian.
To give you a dose of this rebellious form of art, we decided to shoot an editorial in the Metaxourgeio surroundings, wearing this vibrant maxi dress in one of my favorite colours (do I have a favorite colour?).
The dress is from an affordable Greek company with great materials that are exclusive made in Greece.
I hope you enjoy this urban trip in my Grecian dress. I love discovering Athens during this "Greecebylocals" project and sharing it with you all.
If you are into maxi dresses as much as I am, get the look below with similar dresses, I found while browsing through the Asos site. They are also having a 75% SALE!! Can you believe mine cost less than $50 ? talk about a great bargain!
