OK let's skip to the End of November.
Just looking at my garden "note diary" I find that at one stage this month we were at home for only 3 days in a fortnight. We had a trip to visit the Grandkids and another double market weekend down in Adelaide. We returned home to the first heat wave for this year (and it isn't even summer yet!!!) with temperatures up over 35C for 5 days. We have been really busy with markets lately...I guess Christmas time is responsible for that!

The biggest disappointment was the fact that we had neither the time nor energy to net the Cherry tree before leaving...the fruit was a month off ripening but the blackbirds decided they like their cherries on the green side. We came home to find every cherry gone!!!! We can buy more Cherries but we can't replace time spent with our Grandchildren! They are growing up so quickly...
Cherries will taste the same next year but the Grandkids will never be this age again!
