Universal is keeping the Bourne franchise alive, and is sticking with the replacement Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner), for now. Universal has been heavy on established franchises recently, greenlighting a Mummy reboot, while working on a Jurassic Park 4 and a Fast and Furious 7. As this film is in the scripting stages, best guess would be Summer 2015 (following Renner’s appearance in The Avengers 2). Renner has more sequel duty to perform, as Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters had a sequel ordered as well.
