Story: Unit 234 The Lock Up starts when down on her luck storage owner Laurie Saltair (Fuhrman) must give up her vacation to work a night shift. It starts like any other until she gets a visit from a man claiming to be a client. However, he has no proof of identity and is forced to leave. Meanwhile, Laurie investigates the unit and discovers another man Clayton (Huston) locked inside.

The night is going to get worse when the stranger returns with a gang determined to get Clayton. Laurie must figure out how to get Clayton out and survive the attack. However, the stranger isn’t going to let Clayton escape that easily.

Verdict on Unit 234 The Lock Up

Unit 234 The Lock Up is an action thriller following a lone storage unit employee who comes under attack by a mystery gang. She discovers a bigger mystery inside one of the units and finds herself needing to fight them off to do the right thing.

We have seen a few storage unit thrillers in recent years. This focuses more on being a survival thriller, where it puts the focus on Laurie being in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, the story is filled with twists and turns to keep us guessing and not everything is as simple as it looks. The core suspense is here but overall there are more intense variations on this story, despite this having a stacked cast.
