Even though I quite liked some looks from the runways, like the Alexander Mccqueen's dress (little mermaid meets Pippa Middleton at the royal wedding) or Mary Katrantzou's print dress (to be honest, I thought it was flowers and not an underwater landscape), I just couldn't make the transition from the runways to real life with this trend.
That was until I saw Zara's fish dress... How gorgeous is this dress ? Ok, the fit on the model is not the best, but how beautiful is the dégradé print and colors? This is what I most like about Zara, they transform unrealistic runway trends into pieces that I could actually wear.
After finding this dress I did manage to find other interesting pieces inspired by the aquatic life...
I'm loving Aurélie Biederman coral's bracelet, such a pity that everything from her is sooooo expensive ! If I was 10 years younger I would probably try the star and sea horse earrings, but I would just look ridiculous now.
How about you, have you gotten inspired by the sea lately ? Please share, I'm very curious to hear your thoughts on this.
Have a great week ! xx
