Ultraman: Rising is an animated action-adventure movie. It follows a baseball superstar who must take over from his father as the protector of Japan, Ultraman. He must learn what it means to take over the role and how to make his father proud.

This movie brings to life the iconic Japanese fighter and protector against giant monsters. It shows the importance of the superhero fighting against threats before getting a new responsibility to the table, raising a baby Kaiju. This adds plenty of heart to the story and shows the difficult life balance any superhero has. Most importantly, we get a villain whose actions you understand and completely understand their motives.
