The bodies of the two school students aged 15 and 16 who drowned while bathing in the Walawe river were recovered yesterday. The police said that these two students went
to a tuition class in Balangoda town and went to bathe in the Walawe river on Tuesday.
According to the police, one student is from the Balangoda Tamil Vidyalaya and the other a student is from Balangoda Raviwatta Vidyalaya.
The post-mortem examinations are to be conducted at Balangoda Base Hospital.
