Two Big Finals Postpone Due to Bad Weather

The Inter school under 19 division Tier B final between Taxila Central Horana and P.de S Kularatne MV Ambalangoda scheduled to be played at BRC grounds washed out due to heavy rain yesterday and both schools decaled as joint winners of this tournament.

According to the under 19 Tournament Secretary of the Sri Lanka Schools cricket Association (SLSCA) Y. Nishantha Kumara, the two finals of the division 1 Tier A and Tier B are scheduled to be played today ( 11) and tomorrow ( 12) at Bloomfield grounds have been postponed due to weather conditions and new dates will be notified later after the new year .

The division one Tier B final between St Peters Bambalapitiya and Thurstan scheduled to be played today (11) at Bloomfield grounds while the division one Tier A final between St Josephs Colombo and Richmond scheduled to be played on tomorrow (12) at same venue Bloomfield and both of them now will be played on new dates.

Meanwhile only the division 2 Tier A final between Sri Sumangala Panadura and St Sebastian Katuneriya played at BRC grounds on Saturday (9) where Sri Sumangala retained the title for the second consecutive year at this low scoring final.
