Twitter Limits Trump’s Another Tweet: We Found 5 More That Should Be Flagged

The US presidential election is underway and Twitter has limited another tweets from Trump, calling it " contested. " The platform limited the user's ability to interact with the tweet, deeming it "misleading about an election or other civic process." Gizmodo reported Development.

Social media paid special attention to this year's U.S. election, preferring to block entire functionality to avoid future complaints of manipulation. This new vigilantism also required a degree of censorship for President Trump's posts. Donald Trump-Twitter relations turned sour when the platform checked his tweets. Now, hours before the election, another of his tweets has been flagged by the platform.

"Disputed" and "misleading"

In a tweet posted yesterday, Trump posted an article about the Supreme Court's decision to extend the deadline for receiving ballots. Trump said that "the decision to vote in Pennsylvania is VERY dangerous." He went further and claimed that the ruling would contribute to "rampant and uncontrolled cheating", which is an unfounded claim.

If that weren't enough, Trump even claimed that the move "would cause violence in the streets." Twitter took action and limited the tweet's reach, posting a link to an article describing how mail voting is safe and secure. A similar move has been made by Facebook.

No alarms and no surprises

There are several tweets by President Trump that he made despite fact checks proving them false. So I guess the US president is aware of his claims, but still doesn't think it's important to add context or correct them. Here's what I found on the President's Twitter account.

Why it should be reported: Biden never used the term. The statesman made a Checking the facts on the tweet and found the claim without merit, once again.

Another red flag to come for this one. Posted on polling day, this tweet has not been verified at the time of writing. The investigator did a piece on how Trump's stance on Biden's oil strategy is oversimplified.

The 700% increase Trump is referring to here is because the current government has reduced the number of immigrants. Otherwise, the numbers are consistent with American history, says one verification of the facts of the complaint by Kare 11.

This is another Tweet that should be posted before the election process is complete. This is misleading because Biden's policies do not raise taxes for the middle class and the masses. It increases corporate taxes from 21 to 28 percent, canceling Trump's corporate tax exemption. A fact check on it was done by the Washington Post.

And we have a winner! The last nail in the coffin! This one's kind of a contextual blunder. I don't know if Trump is trying to brag that the United States has good tests for COVID-19, or if he blames the tests for the spread of COVID. Nevertheless, a cornell study found that Trump was "possibly the main driver of misinformation about COVID-19."

These are just the 5 best Donald Trump tweets that we found misleading. If the fact checks on these and other tweets aren't verified, who knows what misinformation might sway the votes.
