Twiga already know what I like, therefore I can only like them back. They’ve got a video for a good song that features a homemade robot who dances. In the same video they’ve got the robot surfing on a shooting star with some amazing outer space green screen action and their facebook cover photo is Bruce Springsteen singing into a piece of bacon. All good things.
Members Jackie Perrone, Justin Krim, Nick, Spizzirri and Dave Lucas call Brooklyn home and area really good at wearing sweaters and taking goofy group photos. After releasing their debut EP Fledglings last year they band are fresh on a strong CMJ run and have released the video for “Kites.” Perfect for autumnal city strolling, Twiga has really chill vibes going for them and delightful melodies that keep it all upbeat. If “Kites” is any indication of their new EP or even full length count me in(terested).
