The Stranglers – 96 Tears
Our song of the week comes from The Stranglers with their version of 96 Tears. The song was originally recorded in the sixties by Question Mark and the Mysterians but has been embraced by many acts since then. It’s very rare you can beat the originals and while The Stranglers may not have topped the sixties smash hit, I do think they did the song more than justice.
