Tube Was Late? Claim Your Fare from TfL Using TubeTap iPhone App

London underground tube commuters are able to ask for refunds for Tube journeys which made them late - however it has not been simple to do as most of the people forget to make a claim or simply don't know about the process, as Annie Mole mentioned on her London Underground Blog numerous times.

TubeTap is a new iPhone app which enables anyone to ask for refunds whenever "a train is delayed by more than 15 minutes, for reasons within TFL's control".

This iPhone app allows you to monitor the amount of time your travel requires, after which, the app determines if it is late more than 15 minutes. In that case, the app will be sending your refund demand to TfL (you need to actively send refund request) and whenever your demand is a winner, you will be given a voucher from the TfL.

The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store for £0.69.
