Floral Mesh TopMom Shorts
Every now and again I like to spruce up my wardrobe with something a little out of my comfort zone to wear, so that I don't get too stuck in my (very comfortable) rut of monochrome items, and when I first started seeing the American Apparel mesh rose tops, I knew that they would be the perfect item for the job. Months went by and I still hadn't purchased one, it's unlike anything I have ever worn before, so I was worried that it would look really weird on me, and that I would never wear it - so the thought of spending the ridiculous amount of money that AA seems to charge for it scared me a little. However, after some detective work I came across some dupes of it on eBay, and for less than a tenner it was an almost instant purchase. I went for the pale pink/peach shade to further push myself to stop wearing things that are exclusively black or white, and I haven't regretted it one single bit - plus the complements come flowing in every time I wear it - never a bad thing. It only comes in one size, which means it is oversized on me, but that is just the way I wanted it - this is something worth noting before you make a purchase though. It can be paired with anything from jeans to skirts, and I think it will look really great with items like leather to make them a bit more girly.
I'll definitely be getting my wear out of this, and I'm so glad that I decided to try something a little bit different. What do you think?
