Many people are very afraid to try trends. That is an understandable opinion, because afterall, trends are just that trends. They aren’t guaranteed to stay around that long. So, before you buy those expensive hair feathers for your hair. You blink your eyes and they are out of style. Well, they are!
If you are generally averse to changes in your life, consider setting up an appointment for therapy. Because fashion trends are nothing but fun and certainly nothing to be afraid of. Baby steps.
Try a trend on your nails. Right now, turquoise is a big color for Summer. Try the trend on your nails and you can’t possibly go wrong. Just tailor it to your taste.
However, I would recommend some general ground rules:
- Keep your nails pretty short and oval shaped. If you pride yourself on your long clawlike talons, this color is not for you.
- Balance out your look with respect to nail color. If you usually have your toes painted a color, make sure when you wear an edgier color trend on your fingers, that your toes have nude or a french pedicure. Too much of a good thing is just awful.
- Be creative and own it. You were sassy enough to swipe that color on. Now work it.
