The chart above reflects the results of the newest Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between March 31st and April 2nd of a national sample of 1,227 registered voters, with a margin of error of 2.9 points.
It shows that registered voters disagree with Donald Trump on almost all of the important issues facing the country. Out of 17 important issues, the public likes the Trump policy on only one issue -- the economy. On two other issues, veterans and terrorism, the voters are split (giving him a slim margin that is at or within the margin of error).
On the remaining 14 issues, registered voters disagree with the Trump policies. That's not good for a person who wants to be re-elected.
Even the economy may not work out for Trump. GDP is falling, and the rosiest estimates put it at only about 2% next year. If it falls even further, that could take away the only issue Trump has.
