This chart was made from information contained in a recent Gallup Poll -- done between December 7th and 11th of a random national sample of 1,028 adults, with a margin of error of 4 points.
It shows that Donald Trump got a small bump in his favorability numbers after being elected, but has still been unable to improve on those numbers since then. He is currently viewed favorably by 42% of the public, will 55% view him unfavorably -- a deficit of 13 points.
This means he will be sworn in as the most unpopular modern president. No other modern president had more people viewing him negatively than positively when sworn in. And personally, I think the unfavorable number will start to grow again once he takes office.
