About 6:30 am on Saturday morning, Donald Trump took to Twitter again -- and this time he's not making any sense at all. I don't know if he thinks this kind of crazy tweet will divert attention from his own problems, or whether he just gone completely insane. Here are the four tweets he fired off:
Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism! Is it legal for a sitting President to be “wire tapping” a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW! I’d bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phones in October, just prior to Election! How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy! Kevin Lewis, a spokesman for Obama, responded by saying: “A cardinal rule of the Obama administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice. As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false.”  Someone needs to take Trump's phone away from him, or disable his Twitter account. He's making himself look like a complete fool. It reminds me of the old saying that it's better to be silent and let people think you are a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. Trump is removing all doubt.
