True Blood Season 5 Spoilers From Co-EP Raelle Tucker

We have more news on what to expect in Season 5 of HBO’s True Blood, straight from co-executive producer and writer, Raelle Tucker. Remember when Stephen Moyer said there would be “an omnipresent power” next season in this article?

Raelle Tucker backs this up by saying:

“There will be a very significant, strong, mysterious woman at the center of one of our main stories next year. That will be a very familiar and compelling character. It may be someone you’ve heard of before.”

The show will delve pretty deep into the world of fairies, giving us all (including Sookie) a better understanding of the fascinating creatures.  Speaking of Sookie and Supes, as we saw in the finale, she has seemingly sworn them off — at least romantically.  But can one ever really be rid of Supes in Bon Temps?  Highly doubtful.  So what does this mean for Bill and Eric?  What the heck will they be doing, if not fighting over Sookie?  According to Tucker, seeing as how they offed Nan Flanagan,

“The consequences of their actions in the finale are going to chase them for a while next year.”

What about creepy Rene, Terry, and Arlene?  Well, it seems Rene was right!  Terry is going to be nothing but trouble next season, thanks to his old buddy Patrick.  Fitting that Terry’s past would come back to haunt him on All Hallow’s Eve, don’t you think?  But poor Terry isn’t the only character whose past is coming back to haunt him — we now know that Steve Newlin is back (as a vampire, who saw that one coming?!), and so is the King of Mississippi!  Uh oh.  I smell trouble.  That little fella is NOT going to be happy.  Three cheers for Russell Edgington and his crazy antics!

What do you think, Truebies?  Is Season 5 already shaping up to be a good one?
