Jurnee Smollett, who has enjoyed a plum recurring part this season on True Blood will be enjoying another large recurring part come this fall. She’s been tapped for a decent recurring spot on Parenthood. This doesn’t necessarily mean she won’t be able to do True Blood, or that her character is not long for this world. True Blood has already wrapped filming, and she is allowed to recur on as many shows as she would like. The problem would only be if she was a series regular on one of the two shows, which she isn’t.
