True Blood Music: Volume 3 to Hit Stores This Fall

We’re not sure about all you Truebies, but we’ve definitely been itching to know when the third volume of the True Blood soundtrack is going to be released, and thankfully we don’t have to wait much longer! The San Francisco Examiner recently reported that we can expect to see the next installment come the fall, which will showcase not only music from season 3, but also season 4, including the premiere’s title track, “She’s Not There,” by Neko Case and Nick Cave.

The first two volumes have been nominated for Grammys, so it’s practically a given that the third volume will follow suit (right?!). No specific release date has been announced, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear. In the meantime, did you know that on each episode’s HBO page there’s a link to the music from that specific episode? Well, it’s pretty brilliant, especially because it tells you when it was playing.
