Trill Farm Season Boxes - Summer Edition

By Hellofreckles @tashajsteel
Now you may not have heard of Trill Farm, but I'm sure you'll have heard of (and perhaps bought items from) Neal's Yard Remedies? If you're looking for a quarterly box that covers food, home and lifestyle and health and beauty then listen up.
Trill Farm, in Devon is owned by Romy Fraser - there's that Neal's Yard Remedies link - have just launched Trill Season Boxes. These boxes can be ordered separately (perhaps if you're looking for a gift that's a little different) or as a year subscription. At £75 each they are more expensive than your monthly Glossybox etc subscriptions but I'm yet to see another company offering this kind of service with so many products inside!
What do you get in the season boxes? Well it'll vary depending on what's available within the season but I received the Summer box* a couple of weeks ago and here's what was inside. Elderflower and rhubarb cordial which is sweet and refreshing and definitely won't last long, BBQ sauce, summer salt seasoning (a nice alternative to the Nando's Peri Peri perhaps) barley crackers, fruit loose tea, raw honey and garlic.

The health and beauty selection is great too: Summer Beauty Balm made with plant extracts and organic essential oils, Lavender soap in a very cute box - again made with organic oils and herbal extracts (you can really see that Neal's Yard Remedies ethos within the Trill Seasons box) There's also a summer relief spray for any bites, grazes or stings you might be unfortunate to get.

There's some vegetable recipe notecards with some lovely illustrations, a citronella candle and living salad straight from Trill Farm Garden to liven up those summer dishes. The Summer box really does cover everything you could need for a garden party or BBQ. I'm sure the Autumn one will include something blackberry related - possibly in the tea? You saw it here first anyway if it does happen!

There's so many beauty boxes out there (and I actually have a post coming up on one soon!) so would a season box be something you'd consider?
I was kindly sent this Trill Summer box to feature. All photos and words are my own.
