As you all know, I am a traveling girl; I can't help but plan one trip as soon as I return from another. Since I am always on the go, I like to make sure I've always got a snack handy. You never know when a craving is going to strike, so it's important to be prepared. That's why I decided to create this simple Traveling Candy Case. It's all dressed up and ready for adventure, making it the perfect on-the-go companion!
I decided to take this Traveling Candy Case to the next level, by mixing in the new M&M's® Peanut Flavors, to keep things interesting. That way, I not only get a surprise with every bite, but I also get to make up my mind on which new flavor is my favorite - in a completely unbiased way. With three new awesome flavors to choose from - M&M’s® Chili Nut, M&M’s® Honey Nut, M&M’s® Coffee Nut - it's nice to form an opinion without any "leading of the witness" and to experience each new flavor in an exciting and unexpected way.
To make your own Traveling Candy Case, you will need:
an old/used map
scissors
ruler
mod podge
pencil
sponge brush
new M&M’s® carrying case
Directions:
First, remove the M&M’s® label and measure it out on a used map. Trace around the edges and then cut out a label-sized piece of your map. Apply mod podge onto the back of the map piece, then carefully place it where the old label was on your M&M’s® carrying case. Cover it with another layer of mod podge - being sure to clean up any edges/bleeds. Next, use the top of the M&M’s® carrying case to trace out a circle on your map and use that as a cover for the top of your case. Apply mod podge to the back of your circle map piece, then apply it to the top of your case. Once it's in place, cover it with another layer of mod podge. Now, you will probably have a little space left over on your wrap around label, so take the "key" or "legend" from your map, measure it to fit, cut it out, and apply it to the empty space on your case with the mod podge, following the same steps above.
Let the mod podge dry completely before opening. Once dry, open up your case, and mix in all three of the new M&M’s® Peanut Flavors - M&M’s® Chili Nut, M&M’s® Honey Nut, M&M’s® Coffee Nut.

Voting stays open until June 17th, giving you plenty of time to make your opinion heard. And BONUS - once you cast your vote for your favorite M&M’s® Peanut Flavors, you'll be entered for a chance to win $100,000 and earn the title of the "Official M&M’s® Taste Tester". Winner will be announced in August, along with the winner of the Flavor Vote, which will then remain on shelves nationwide.
