Beyoncé is using her star power for good. She travels to Haiti to visit a children’s hospital, as part of a United Nations humanitarian effort. The hospital provides medical treatment for disadvantaged and sick children in Haiti. Unfortunately, the children’s hospital has lost major funding resulting in cutbacks of staff and a decrease in the number of children that can be treated. With the help of Beyoncé and her BeyGood charity the hospital hopes to e-open an abandoned wing and continue to aid the people of Haiti.
