Story: Transmission starts when a view sits down to flick through the channels. While channel surfing, they get to watch a mixture of shows, including a live news report, a documentary about a legendary film director and a space film. They are just a few of the many shows being watched, but deep down, they find the shows are connected.
Verdict on Transmission
Transmission is a sci-fi horror that takes us through a string of television shows. Each show offers up something different, however, they all lead to a connected story. It ends up taking us down the journey to discover the truth of what is really going on.
This might well be one of the hardest movies to explain too much about. However, that doesn’t mean we don’t get an extremely interesting concept and story. While certain chapters might be short, the lengthier ones make up for things by bringing substance to the bigger story. Once you can connect the dots, you end up with a horror movie unlike many you have seen before.
This is definitely a horror movie that will make you think and connect the dots. It is a rewarding journey blending documentary filmmaking with a more traditional story concept. By blending everything together we get a much more compelling story, as the smaller chapter might have struggled in the feature format alone. This will blow your mind and leave you wanting to go back for more.
Final Thoughts –Transmission blows the mind with unique originality.
