This time of year can be especially tricky with clothing, especially if you live in a warmer climate like me. You reallyyyyy want to wear full out fall clothing, but the weather simply just won’t allow it – big downer. While we’re stuck in limbo waiting for cooler air to arrive, I like to go ahead and mix up my pretty spring and summer pieces by throwing a transitional piece into the mix. This dress is one of my favorites from this summer, but it’s also a great piece to throw on as we head into the cooler months. A suede jacket is perfect to throw on top of a lighter maxi dress in the evenings, and a cute pair of ankle boots would also pair perfectly. Also, a dirty little secret about this maxi – it’s actually a maternity dress. ASOS seriously has the best selection of maternity clothing that can work both during pregnancy and after, and the adjustable wrap ties with this dress make it perfect to still wear now too!
