Before you apply the tiles make sure the walls are clean and free of any noticeable uneven bumps. Next use a level and trace a guide to make sure the tiles align correctly during the duration of the installation. Before any cuts were made I peeled the back of one tile and used it as a template. I marked where I needed to cut and reported it back to the tile. This works great especially when you have tight corners or harder cuts. Save the backs and you can continue to use them as templates.
Key Takeaways:
- Before you apply the tiles make sure the walls are clean and free of any noticeable uneven bumps.
- Next use a level and trace a guide to make sure the tiles align correctly during the duration of the installation.
- Before you put the tile on the wall wipe off any material that may have come off the cuts. Now peel off the back and align.
“I must say I didn’t know how much of a difference adding peel and stick backsplash tiles to this space would change it. But what surprised me even more was the easy application of the peel and stick Smart Tiles!”
