We first fell in love with Trails and Ways years back following the release of their song “Nunca”, an irresistible summer jam that was equal parts optimism and excitement. Continuing to build on that same feeling, their new song “Skeletons” revolves around an equally upbeat vibe, with driving beats and just a hint of psychedelia to bring a certain dreaminess to the track. Like some of the best pop songs, though, the uplifting instruments are layered below more sombre lyrics — who says you can’t dance and feel at the same time.
