Plot – During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive.

Summary: Each year we get a potential sci-fi epic and it would be far to say this could be this years attempt. We have the mega cast and a brilliant director make this the film that everyone will want to see. The story looks great because what would happen if someone was left on Mars with the distance it takes to get there. I say this could be a surprise hit but it does have the potential of falling flat.
