i-ROAD Revolutionary Future Car
Toyota’s idea of a three-wheel, tandem-seat Micro-car to a modern extreme in a concept ” i-ROAD ” is now ready for the showdown.
In i-ROAD, Toyota has combined an electric motor and battery that can travel upto 30 miles after being charged and it is equipped with a stability system to keep the trike upright; it’s front wheels can raise and lower in turns to lean the body without toppling it. By seating two people in tandem, As per the Toyota statement the “i-ROAD” is no wider than a conventional motorcycle, and would not require any sort of special training to drive.

Overcrowded metropolitan cities have been continuously demanding replacement of 4 wheeler vehicles by compact cars and No doubt, i-ROAD is what all of us wanted to have on roads of our cities.As far as dimensions go, the vehicle measures in at 2350x 850x 1445mm, which is about 7.7 x 2.8 x 4.75 feet. The wheelbase is of 1700mm, which is 5.6-feet, making it a very svelte offering for over-crowded public spaces.
