Tortilla Roll Ups

By Tejal Hewitt @Tejal_x

These Tortilla Roll Ups are very delicious, moorish and definitely the 'once you pop you just can't stop' foods'! Many years ago a lovely lady who I worked with (Theresa) made these one year for Christmas pot luck, and since then both me and my mum make these regularly for pot luck, parties and to be honest all most any occasion.

Lightly tomato spiced and flavoured cream cheese in tortilla wraps is the quickest easiest party food or nibbles to make, they take no time, no cooking just mix, spread and roll!

I've recently seen some amazing short quick videos on my Facebook specially the Tasty and Buzzfeed Tasty ones, they are so inspiring and my kind of videos. A lot of my friends and family have said I should start making videos, but the idea of being in front of the camera just gives me an internal panic attack!

These little pin wheels make great school lunches too, my kids love them instead of having a sandwich, actually these are actually super good as a quesadilla filling too.

Ingredients
200g Cream Cheese
4 Sliced Spring Onions
Jalapeno chopped
100g Salsa
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp Black pepper
1/4 Tsp Salt
4 Tortilla Wraps

Instructions

Add cream cheese to a bowl and mix until soft and smooth.

Add spring onions, salsa and chopped jalapeno

Stir until smooth and pale pink in colour.

Add the garlic powder, salt and pepper

Stir for further minute or so until all combined.

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly onto 4 tortilla wraps

Roll tightly each tortilla wrap

Place into a bag or container and chill in the fridge for about 2 hours.

Remove from the fridge, and trim off the tops and bottoms of each roll and then slice evenly.

Enjoy!
