Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where you post the 'top ten' for each week.
This week, the top ten was: Top Ten Favorite Quotes from Books! This one was really hard for me to choose, because I like so many quotes! Once I get done reading a book, I usually go through and like a bunch of it's quotes on Goodreads!
1. “It's just that...I just think that some things are meant to be broken. Imperfect. Chaotic. It's the universe's way of providing contrast, you know? There have to be a few holes in the road. It's how life is.” - Sarah Dessen, the Truth About Forever
2. “Surely He does not give us hearts so we may spend our lives ignoring them.” - R.L. LaFevers, Grave Mercy
3. “Everyone should remember being born. It doesn't seem fair that we only remember dying.” - Lauren DeStefano, Fever
4. “That's the flip side of freedom; When you're completely free, you're also completely on your own.” - Lauren Oliver, Pandemonium
5. “I spent my life folded between the pages of books. In the absence of human relationships I formed bonds with paper characters. I lived love and loss through stories threaded in history; I experienced adolescence by association. My world is one interwoven web of words, stringing limb to limb, bone to sinew, thoughts and images all together. I am a being comprised of letters, a character created by sentences, a figment of imagination formed through fiction.” - Tahereh Mafi, Shatter Me
6.  “It's not knowing how to write that makes you interesting, it's what you write.” - Ally Condie, Crossed
7. “I'm a grenade and at some point I'm going to blow up and I would like to minimize the casualties, okay?” - John Green, the Fault In Our Stars
8. “In the end that was the choice you made, and it doesn't matter how hard it was to make it. It matters that you did.” - Cassandra Clare, City of Glass
9. “My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations.” - John Green, The Fault In Our Stars
10. “I've heard the word 'fear'. I simply choose to believe it doesn't apply to me.” - Cassandra Clare, City of Ashes
