Top 8 Beauty and Skin Products of 2013

  1. Bobbi Brown long wear even finish foundation - This foundation is amazing, i can't sing it's praises enough, it offers great coverage, it is long lasting, the color is a fantastic match for my skin and there is a great array of colours on offers meaning there is one for everyone. My favorite foundation without a doubt
  2. MAC girl about town - I own a lot of MAC lipsticks (at last count i had 32) but in the last few months this is the shade i keep reaching for time and time again. It is quite bright fuchsia that is blue based, i like that it is quite feminine without being pink. The texture and formula just work for me and it lasts hours.
  3. Nars one night stand palette - This is a bit of a cheat as i couldn't pick just one Nars blusher so i picked the palette that contains some amazing shades which cover all looks and moods. It even contains a bronzer and highlighter for your contouring needs. This is a palette that packs a hell of a punch.
  4. Kiehl's midnight recovery - I really got into caring for my skin this year, this was a product i read so much hype about it but didn't get straight away because of the price, however i think if i was only allowed one face product, this could be it, it just makes skin look great, it smells amazing, it is a miracle in a bottle.
  5. Origins super spot remover - I suffer from spots, not something a 26 year old wants to admit but i do, and when i get them they last ages and look really angry because of my pale skin, this little jar of magic really helps though, it takes the redness and pain out, and is amazing for those lurker spots. Seems a little for the money but it goes a long way.
  6. Urban Decay Naked 2 palette - I don't think any list would be complete without a Naked palette, naked 3 is still too new to make this list as i haven't had time to use it enough to gauge an opinion. I love a neutral eye and this is my go to, it creates so many great looks for day and night and can be as simple or as elaborate as you like.
  7. Bioderma sensibio h2o - Again another bloggers staple. I used the L'oreal one but found it was making my skin awful, so i switched to this, i used it every day without fail, it removes all my make without effort and leaves me skin feeling clean. I know that is what it is meant to do, but it does it so well.
  8. Laura Mercier artist palette - This palette is just stunning, i could gaze at it for ages, it is almost too pretty to use. I am trying to break away from only wearing a neutral eye to other colours and this is a great palette for doing so. If you can get your hands on this limited edition palette, hold on tight and never let go.
