With today being Tom Cruise’s birthday I am looking at my favorite (Not his best roles), these are roles that will keep you most entertained and also the ones you will sometimes think are outside his range. Tom has 51 acting credits to his name according to the IMDB and along with 3 Oscar nominations he still hasn’t got the win. He is considered controversial because of his religious beliefs but you can’t take away that he really is one of the best actors in Hollywood today.
5. Stacee Jaxx – Rock of Ages (2012)
The rock star who launch a genre of music that flows with charisma from the first moment you see him emerge from the group of groupies. Cruise is almost unrecognisable in this role and pulls of the singing too. Don’t Stop Believin’
4. Lestat – Interview With The Vampire
Lestat is the vampire who created the narrator who is telling how he abused his power and soon became a twisted vampire.
3. Lt. Daniel Kaffee – A Few Good Men
Kaffee is trying to uncover the truth about an Navy incident and he battles in court to find the truth. Tom is part of one of the most memorable court room in film history.
2. Ethan Hunt – Mission Impossible
Ethan Hunt is the special agent who goes on, wait for it impossible mission and somehow succeeds. Hunt is easily the closest America had come to creating their own James Bond (Before Jason Bourne came out).
1. Vincent – Collateral
Vincent is the assassin who has come to town to kill his targets, he hires out a taxi for the night, but as the night continues much like the body count, the driver starts to get second thoughts about helping him around town.
